A big congratulations to Art Conservation students Carl Magarro, Doris Fuller Ruiz, and John Habib, who have all been selected by the National Gallery of Canada for its ! The M.A.C. candidates will take part in the 12-week internship, working alongside experienced conservators.
The Department of Art History & Art Conservation remembers Isabel Bader (LLD '07), who passed away on Sunday. Along with her late husband, Alfred Bader, Isabel was known for her generosity to the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ community. Their Bader Collection -- a donation of over 500 artworks -- included four paintings by Rembrandt, and the Bader name graces the College at Herstmonceux Castle, and Kingston's waterfront Centre for the Performing Arts.
