Submit an Abstract

We are updating our submissions process for the 2026 Inquiry@÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Conference. Details will be posted here as they become available.

An oral presentation is based on a research paper or project and should be around 10 minutes in length, excluding questions. All presentations will be followed by a short question and answer period.

Poster presentations will take place during Lunch with Posters session. Students will be expected to be in attendance to answer questions (no formal presentation is required).

Submission Instructions:

Students may submit one abstract for an oral presentation or poster in English (max 300 words) to the conference organizers for consideration.

An abstract is a short summary of your research and often includes an a) introduction/problem statement, b) methods/approach, and c) findings/implications. Students should only submit abstracts for presentations or posters that they will be presenting (please do not submit abstracts on behalf of someone else).

All abstracts for oral presentations and posters will be included in the , an Open Access online journal which publishes the proceedings of the annual I@Q Conference. Slideshows for oral presentations and digital versions of the posters will also be included in the I@Q Research Proceedings journal. We will contact you prior to the conference to ensure that all documents have been received. This journal serves as a record of all contributions to the Inquiry@÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Undergraduate Research Conference. You can refer to it on your résumé and it can be cited by other researchers.
