General

The General plan is a three-year Bachelor of Arts degree without honours. The plan details are similar to a History Minor plan, except the students in a General plan are required to complete 90.0-units to complete their degree. Students have the option of upgrading a General degree to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree. Please see the details of the History General plan below. 

History General Plan Acceptance Requirements

To be accepted to a History General degree plan you need: 

  1. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 
  2. 3.0 units of 100-level History   
  3. Minimum grade of C in your 100-level History course (or BADR 100 or BADR 101)

If you do not meet the above thresholds for a History General degree plan, you need the following to be placed on the Pending List:  

  1. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 
  2. 3.0 units of 100-level History   
  3. Minimum grade of C- in your 100-level History course (or BISC 100 or BISC 101)
