Queen’s Welcomes President's Delegation from Fudan University

On May 6, 2025, Queen’s University welcomed a delegation from Fudan University, Shanghai, led by President Jin Li. Fudan University holds the distinction of being Queen’s first formal university partner in Mainland China.

During the visit, senior leaders from both institutions engaged in open and insightful discussions on a range of topics, including the challenges and opportunities facing universities today, interdisciplinary programs and university education, and how universities can advance UN SDGs.

In addition to reaffirming their commitment to ongoing collaborations, the two institutions signed a Letter of Intent, marking a commitment to work together in a deeper and more comprehensive way in the field of Global Public Policy.
