Theo Lagden et Sara Boustani ont visité l’Ambassade de France à Ottawa le 4 mai 2026 à titre de représentantes du département d’Études françaises dans le cadre du Choix Goncourt Canada. Un jury composé d’étudiant·es en français de partout au Canada a désigné le roman ‘La nuit au cœur’ de Nathacha Appanah comme lauréat du Prix Goncourt Canada 2026, à l’issue d’une longue délibération. Jago Garrett et Daria Vatandoust ont également participé à l’initiative coordonnée par le Prof Lefort-Favreau.
Theo Lagden and Sara Boustani visited the French Embassy in Ottawa on May 4, 2026, as representatives of the Department of French Studies as part of the Goncourt Canada Prize. A jury composed of French students from across Canada selected Nathacha Appanah’s novel 'La nuit au cœur' as the winner of the 2026 Prix Goncourt Canada, following lengthy deliberations. Jago Garrett and Daria Vatandoust also participated in the initiative coordinated by Prof. Lefort-Favreau
