Multiple ways of knowing, interpreting, and organizing the world are the backbone of STEM; however, only a few ways of knowing are valued within schools and are taught to teacher candidates. ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ graduate researchers went into a Grade 9 Ontario secondary school to expand upon the current Math and Science curriculum. Within their sessions, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ researchers prompted and supported learning Indigenous ways of learning STEM. Join us for this hybrid event, attend in-person or register for the Zoom session.
