    Burnout: Signs, Symptoms and Prevention (EWPB)

    This session will not only discuss the signs and symptoms of burnout but will also discuss what strategies you can put in place to help your team THRIVE. Join your peers as together we build a leadership culture of burnout recognition and prevention.

    This is one of the five core courses required for the Enhancing Wellbeing and Preventing Burnout (EWPB) Certificate.
    Please note that you must register in the certificate program in order to receive a certificate, and you must also register in each individual workshop.

    Employee burnout is a growing concern for managers. It is important for managers to recognize signs of burnout in themselves and their employees so that they can avoid burnout from occurring. In this course, we will discuss the causes of burnout, how to identify if you or your employees are approaching burnout, and important prevention strategies. We will discuss what it means to thrive in the workplace, what resources are available, and how to foster a positive working environment.

    Learning Outcomes: Leaders will be able to:

    • Identify the signs and symptoms of burnout in themselves and their employees
    • Identify the signs of Thriving and Wellbeing
    • Implement workplace strategies to minimize instances of burnout in managers and employees
    • Reflect on personal and employee workload
