÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ was granted its Royal Charter on Oct. 16, 1841 and established University Day to commemorate the occasion. It has been celebrated in different ways over ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ 178-year history, including track and field events, concerts, and fireworks.
