Join us for the . Celebrate the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s legendary Marathon of Hope, where the 22-year-old ran 3,339 miles across Canada on a prosthetic leg to raise funds for cancer research. His legacy continues to inspire millions around the world.
Alumni, family, and friends are invited to run, ride or walk a loop of 2.5 km to 10 km ‒ choose your own challenge! The Terry Fox Run is free to enter, non-competitive and open-to-all. All funds raised support cutting-edge cancer research at The Institute of Cancer Research, London in honour of a true Canadian hero. Donations upon are encouraged but not required.
What to expect:
- After registering, please email us to let us know you're coming.
- We'll gather at a designated meeting spot before the race for a group photo ‒ details will be shared in response to your email.
- Food will be available for purchase on-site, and complimentary refreshments may be provided by the organizers.
- Baggage check will be available if needed, and there are three public toilet facilities in the park.
- After the run, feel free to join fellow participants at a nearby pub for a celebratory pint.

Accessibility:
Battersea Park is a beautiful, tree lined and central park in London. The route is broken into laps of 2.5km. It's scenic and flat on pavement and loops past the lagoon and sports fields. Runners, walkers and bikers can do the loop 1, 2, 3 or 4 times, depending on their own challenge level.
Getting there:
The Bandstand is within a 17 minute walk from Battersea Park station and 18 minute walk from Queenstown Road station. There are three car parks at Albert Gate, Chelsea Gate and Rosery Gate. Bike racks are available in all three car parks and a number of bus routes stop nearby the park. For detailed directions, visit the .
