High School Credits
Eligible students who do not submit a final transcript and/or course descriptions (where required) by the end of their first term as a Ӱֱ student are considered to have declined transfer credit.

Transfer credit assessment takes place after a student has accepted an offer of admission.

Transfer credit assessment outcomes are not appealable.

There may be a minimum grade threshold before transfer credit will be granted.

Achieved grades from transfer credits will not be reflected on a Queen’s transcript – only the designation “TR”.
Post-Secondary Credits

Transfer credit assessment takes place after a student has accepted an offer of admission.

Students who have taken post-secondary credit prior to attending Queen’s must disclose this information on the OUAC application form. Failure to disclose all post-secondary studies during the time of application is considered Academic Dishonesty and may prohibit an applicant from receiving transfer credit or may result in withdrawal from the University.

Detailed, electronic course descriptions are required for a transfer credit assessment to be completed. Ӱֱ will not request course descriptions on students' behalf from their previous institution. Only courses for which course descriptions have been received can be assessed for transfer credit. Course descriptions must be submitted in English, except for "Language" courses, where the syllabi will be accepted in the language of instruction.

Paper-based outlines mailed to the Undergraduate Admission and Recruitment office are not accepted for transfer credit review.
